Strong real estate market! Though average real estate values in Montana are higher than the United States average, the price of Montana homes for sale tends to be lower. This is partially due to larger homes and also because a few cities like Belgrade or Livingston, with prices 50% higher than the average, that skew the state figures upwards. A beautiful state capital to enjoy! Helena houses a variety of beautiful destinations, such as the historical St. Helena Cathedral, the original Governor's Mansion, and the capitol itself. Not far away, Butte provides another kind of adventure, with its long boom and bust history of copper mining.
Play a few rounds of golf! Summers in Montana are definitely conducive to golf, and most cities have great golf courses to choose from. Anaconda Hills Golf Course in Great Falls is one course of note. The Larchmont Golf Course in Missoula is another one to check out while you're in the Treasure State.
